General Family Medicine
Family medicine covers everything from a single acute complaint to steady management of a chronic condition. In practice it means your blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and medication are not looked at in isolation, but as part of the whole picture, alongside sleep, weight and how active you are.
- History taking and clinical examination
- Laboratory testing where needed
- Medication adjustment and referrals
- Review at regular intervals
Functional medicine
The functional approach starts with why: what in diet, sleep, stress or physiology keeps the symptom going. Testing is targeted and the plan is introduced in stages with small changes you can keep, not strict regimes abandoned after two weeks.
- Extended diet and lifestyle history
- Targeted laboratory testing
- A staged plan with clear priorities
- Follow-up and adjustment
Biomedical acupuncture
Acupuncture follows a clinical assessment and is used either on its own or alongside conventional treatment. A course of sessions with review is the usual approach: if there is no benefit, the plan changes rather than continues.
- Clinical assessment of suitability
- Sessions with sterile single-use needles
- Review after the first sessions
- On its own or combined with your existing treatment
PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma
A small amount of blood is drawn, the plasma is separated by centrifugation and injected into the affected area. It is mainly used for tendinopathy, osteoarthritis and chronic musculoskeletal injuries that have not responded to conservative treatment. Suitability is assessed clinically and the result is reviewed.
- Clinical assessment and suitability check
- Blood draw and centrifugation on site
- Injection into the area under sterile conditions
- Review and planning of any further session
Postural disorders, posturology
Posturology examines how the postural receptors work together: eyes, jaw, feet and the vestibular system. Assessment identifies asymmetries that keep neck, mid-back or low-back pain going, and leads to targeted interventions and exercise, in cooperation with a physiotherapist or other specialties where needed.
- Clinical assessment of posture and balance
- Examination of the postural receptors
- A plan of interventions and exercises
- Review of posture over time
Chronic pain management
The approach combines medication where needed with acupuncture, postural work, exercise, sleep and stress management. The aim is to reduce the intensity and frequency of pain and restore function, with the treatment reviewed at regular intervals.
- Mapping the pain and the history behind it
- A combination of therapeutic methods
- Gradual return to activity
- Regular review and adjustment
Homeopathy
Classical homeopathy selects a remedy from the totality of symptoms, the history and the patient’s constitution. It is used alongside medical treatment and never as a replacement for it, with review at regular intervals.
- Extended history taking
- Selection of an individual remedy
- Instructions for use and follow-up
- Review and adjustment of treatment
ONDAMED therapy
The method uses low-intensity pulsed fields, with frequencies selected through pulse biofeedback. It is used as an addition to treatment for chronic pain, fatigue and stress-related conditions. It replaces neither diagnostic investigation nor medical treatment.
- Clinical assessment and goals for the session
- Frequency selection through biofeedback
- A course of sessions with review
- Combined with the rest of your treatment
Magnetic field therapy, PEMF
PEMF aims to reduce pain and swelling and to support tissue healing. It is used as a complementary option in osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, injuries and delayed healing, after clinical assessment and a check for contraindications.
- Clinical assessment and contraindication check
- Defining the area and the parameters
- A course of sessions with review
- Combined with exercise and rehabilitation
Ozone therapy
Medical ozone is given in strictly defined concentrations, locally or systemically depending on the indication. It is used as a complementary option for musculoskeletal complaints, chronic inflammation and slow-healing ulcers, always after clinical assessment and a check for contraindications.
- Clinical assessment and contraindication check
- Choice of route and dose
- A course of sessions with review
- Combined with the rest of your treatment
