GESY Beneficiary Portal: how to log in and use your account

How to create an account on gesy.org.cy, log in with the OTP code sent to your phone, link your Beneficiary Record, and view your history, prescriptions and referrals.

Logging in, step by step

How to access your GESY account

  1. Open the Beneficiary Portal

Go to gesy.org.cy and choose “Beneficiary Portal” from the launchpad. Bookmark that page so you always sign in through the official link.
  2. Create a user account

First time: choose “Create an Account”. You need your ID or ARC number, an email address you can access, and a mobile number, both are used for verification.
  3. Sign in with username and password

Enter your username and password on the login page. Watch CAPS LOCK, it is the most common reason a correct password is rejected.
  4. Enter the OTP code from the SMS

Every login sends a one-time password (OTP) by SMS to your mobile. You have about 5 minutes to enter it, and each code works only once, request a new one if it expires.
  5. Link your Beneficiary Record

The first time, choose “Link your Record” and enter two verification codes: the first is given to you by your personal doctor, the second arrives in your email. Check carefully that both codes belong to your own record.
  6. Open your record

From the side menu choose “Beneficiary Record” for your medical history, medical profile, personal details and access log, who opened your record and when.
  7. See your children from the same account

Minor children are linked automatically to a parent’s account. Use the user icon at the top right, choose “Switch Beneficiary”, and select the child.
Inside your account

What you can do online

Medical history and visits

See recorded visits, diagnoses and notes. Worth opening before a specialist appointment or before travelling.

Prescriptions and medicines

Prescriptions are electronic and appear in your record. At the pharmacy you do not need to log in, your ID/beneficiary number is enough.

Referrals and tests

Check the referral and its expiry date before booking a laboratory or specialist, and view results once they are filed.

Access log

The access log shows every provider who opened your record. If you see something you do not recognise, report it to the HIO on 17000.

Personal details

Keep your mobile number and email current, that is where OTP and verification codes go. A wrong number means you cannot log in at all.

Phone or computer

The portal works on mobile too. Use the same device that receives the SMS so you can enter the code before it expires.
Login problems

Frequently asked questions

I did not receive the OTP code on my phone. What now?

Check your signal and blocked-message list, then request a new code. If nothing arrives, the number on your account is probably wrong or out of date, call the HIO on 17000 to correct it.

The OTP code expired before I entered it.

Each code lasts about 5 minutes and works once. Dismiss the error, start a fresh login and request a new code.

I forgot my username or password.

Use the password-recovery link on the login page with the email you registered. If you no longer have access to that email, only the HIO (17000) can resolve it.

I cannot find my Beneficiary Record after logging in.

The user account and the record are two different things. If you have never done “Link your Record”, the account looks empty: ask your personal doctor for the first verification code and check your email for the second.

I entered the wrong verification codes.

Your account may end up linked to someone else’s record. Contact the HIO on 17000 immediately.

Can I see my child’s or my parent’s record?

Minor children appear automatically under “Switch Beneficiary” once your own record is linked. An adult relative must link their own record, they cannot be added to your account.

Patient information only. GESY procedures can change, confirm your own situation with the HIO (17000) or ask us during your visit.
